Our mission is to bring people to the full knowledge of who they are in Jesus Christ through the word of God. Assist them in the full understanding of their covenant rights and privileges as children of God, in order that they would live a victorious Christian life.

To help God's children become established in the Word of God so as to give it first place in their lives. Bring them to a place where they operate in the biblical principles of faith, love, healing, prosperity, redemption, and righteousness.

Where they can share it with others and reach out with victorious answers to the world around them.

Pastor Aaron Derksen attended Trinity College from 1990-1992, he then continued his education in Professional piloting at St. Pete College from 1993-1995.

	Pastor Angela attended Trinity College from 1990-1993 and continued her education at Southeastern College. They have been involved in ministry from the early 90's as youth pastors and in music ministry.

As their hunger for the Lord grew they were led by the Holy Spirit to begin a bible study with their extended family in their home in 1996. The bible study grew and the future direction for their ministry unfolded.

The Lord spoke to Pastor Aaron to begin three things, a church, a radio station and a school. Their purpose would be to facilitate the teaching of God's children as to who they are in Christ Jesus. Teaching them their covenant rights and privileges as children of God. That they are equipped to live victoriously in this present world. West Coast Word Church was then birthed.

The first meeting was in a 900 square foot space on Resurrection Sunday 2002 with 48 in attendance. We have been moving forward ever since. Pastors Aaron and Angela received their ordination in May of 2002 during a service led by their Pastor Kurt Owens.
