You Will Hear

NOW… Romans 10:17 says:

17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

SO…Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

NOW…Your ability to hear…comes from the Word of God.

You see…we have an inner ear and an outer ear.

AND…When you have been hearing (listening too) God’s Word…it will cause you to hear (inner ear) what you won’t hear(outer ear)…if you haven’t been hearing God’s Word.

Example: When you’ve been hearing (listening too) God’s Word…it will cause your spirit to respond in faith when you hear (with your outer ear) some doubt filled words or ideas.

You will hear…the truth…in the middle of lies.

You will hear…how to structure the business deals.

You will hear…how to talk to your children to cause them to be drawn to the things of God.

You will hear…how to talk to your future employer at the job interview.

You will hear…exactly what you need to hear in every situation.

You will hear…Jesus bore my sins…so I’m dead to sin…and I live unto righteousness…and by the stripes of Jesus I am healed.

You will hear…I forgive others, as Christ has forgive me.

Pastor Aaron-

1 John 5:4-5 King James Version

4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

New Living Translation

4 For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. 5 And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

SO…the day that you decided to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord…is when victory became possible for your life.

NOWFaith is required for us to overcome!

AND…Faith is a dependency…on God and His Word.

SO…A drug attic will should have no problem…believing God and Walking by faith.

BECAUSE…They will change their dependency from an illegal substance to the substance of the Word.

….”now faith is the substance”…

NOW…the bible is full of promises…that are accessed by faith. (8,000 promises)

AND…We know that:

Faith is what accesses the promises of God.

AND…in Hebrews 11 we see that it was “faith” that gave each person victory.

Hebrews 11:1-  New Living Translation

Great Examples of Faith

1 Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. (Above the line)

2 Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.

3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see (Below the line) did not come from anything that can be seen. (Above the line)

4 It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did.

5 It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying…

7 It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before.

8 It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going. 9 And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith

11 It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise. 12 And so a whole nation came from this one man who was as good as dead—a nation with so many people that, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count them.

29 It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.

30 It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls came crashing down.

31 It was by faith that Rahab the prostitute was not destroyed with the people in her city who refused to obey God. For she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.

SO…Faith is what is necessary to for us to reach our destinies.

____________________________________________________

Faith sees the results

NOW…some people say…blind faith.

BUT…there is nothing blind about faith (faith sees)

…you don’t see with your eyes…you look thru them…your mind is what is making the decision.

Example: people can be looking at the same thing…but see it differently and tell a different story, about what they saw.

______________________________________________________

NOW …once we’re born again…we become partakers of the divine nature of God.

2 Peter 1:4 King James Version

4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.   (Lust = Pressures)

SO…if you are still making excuses of why you are acting like a fool

***It’s time to grow uprenew your mind to God’s way of thinking, God’s way of living…and just “Believe God”!

WELL…pastor l’ve thought like this for the past 30 years…I can’t just stop thinking this way.

YA…but you can start thinking…like God thinks…right now.

Romans 8:2-7 King James Version

2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

SO…Paul is talking about a “law”.

Example: the law of gravity…

“…carnal mind is enmity against God…”

NOW…You can’t believe with your mind of flesh…what you can believe with the mind of your spirit.

NOW…we are to renew our mind…(because our carnal mind doesn’t automatically think this way.)

Our mind has been programmed to think (by the world around us) naturally.

BUT…when we renewing our mind to God’s Word…we will no longer think in terms of natural limitation.

The Word of God will teach us how to live like supernaturally.

NOW…How you see yourself…has a lot to do with how far you will go…in the things of God.

_________________________________________________________

David

Example: David couldn’t just see himself has a little, weak, good for nothing, sheep herder…

…he had to see himself as a child of almighty God!

AND…While he was working…(herding sheep)…he did it by faith!

2 Corinthians 4:13-18 King James Version

13We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

14Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

NOW…it’s amazing how much time to people work on what‘s temporal.

SO…there is an outward man and inward man.

Keep reading:

V.17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:

for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

NOW…If you only look at what is seen…and never look at what is not seen

AND…your afflictions will be heavy and they’re going to last.

___________________________________________________

SO…There is an eternal realm and a temporal realm.

Eternal realm = Spiritual realm

- Eternal realm is not seen naturally, it’s seen spiritually.

-Eternal realm…does not change.

- Eternal realm…is not limited by natural.

-In the eternal realm…time…is not as we know it.

—————————-below the line———————————

Temporal realm = is the physical / natural realm.

- Everything is seen naturally.

-In the Temporal realm…everything is subject to change.

- In the Temporal realm …everything is subject to time.

__________________________________________________________

NOW… we live in these two realms…

And…together these provide the complete spectrum of reality.

2 Kings 6:1-23  New Living Translation

The Floating Ax Head

1 One day the group of prophets came to Elisha and told him, “As you can see, this place where we meet with you is too small. 2 Let’s go down to the Jordan River, where there are plenty of logs. There we can build a new place for us to meet.”

“All right,” he told them, “go ahead.”

3 “Please come with us,” someone suggested.

“I will,” he said. 4 So he went with them.

When they arrived at the Jordan, they began cutting down trees. 5 But as one of them was cutting a tree, his ax head fell into the river. “Oh, sir!” he cried. “It was a borrowed ax!”

6 “Where did it fall?” the man of God asked. When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it into the water at that spot. Then the ax head floated to the surface. 7 “Grab it,” Elisha said. And the man reached out and grabbed it.

Any borrowed thing…money, cars, cloths…ect.

To be supernaturally restored and repaid.

Elisha Traps the Arameans

8 When the king of Aram was at war with Israel, he would confer with his officers and say, “We will mobilize our forces at such and such a place.”

9 But immediately Elisha, the man of God, would warn the king of Israel, “Do not go near that place, for the Arameans are planning to mobilize their troops there.” 10 So the king of Israel would send word to the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he would be on the alert there.

11 The king of Aram became very upset over this. He called his officers together and demanded, “Which of you is the traitor? Who has been informing the king of Israel of my plans?”

12 “It’s not us, my lord the king,” one of the officers replied. “Elisha, the prophet in Israel, tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in the privacy of your bedroom!”

13 “Go and find out where he is,” the king commanded, “so I can send troops to seize him.”

And the report came back: “Elisha is at Dothan.” 14 So one night the king of Aram sent a great army with many chariots and horses to surround the city.

15 When the servant of the man of God got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Oh, sir, what will we do now?” the young man cried to Elisha.

16 “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” 17 Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.

18 As the Aramean army advanced toward him, Elisha prayed, “O Lord, please make them blind.” So the Lord struck them with blindness as Elisha had asked.

19 Then Elisha went out and told them, “You have come the wrong way! This isn’t the right city! Follow me, and I will take you to the man you are looking for.” And he led them to the city of Samaria.

20 As soon as they had entered Samaria, Elisha prayed, “O Lord, now open their eyes and let them see.” So the Lord opened their eyes, and they discovered that they were in the middle of Samaria.

21 When the king of Israel saw them, he shouted to Elisha, “My father, should I kill them? Should I kill them?”

22 “Of course not!” Elisha replied. “Do we kill prisoners of war? Give them food and drink and send them home again to their master.”

23 So the king made a great feast for them and then sent them home to their master. After that, the Aramean raiders stayed away from the land of Israel.

__________________________________________________

SO…When you’re dealing with faith…you leave time and go to the eternal. (NOW)

AND…The eternal realm is able to changeevery physical thing. (Including time)

Example:

SO…Jesus could heal a person right-a-way. (Suddenly, Speedily, Straightway, and Immediately)

Luke 4:39-40 King James Version

39And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

40Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

YOU SEE…Faith is not controlled by time or by what someone looks like.(sick)

John 5:8 King James Version

8Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

***Your faith doesn’t wait…it takes!

1 Samuel 17:46 King James Version

46This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

Q. What if David would have said?    Someday the Lord will deliver you into my hand”

That “someday”…would have never come.

Fear

AND…Fear is designed to keep you in the temporal realm. (Someday)

And…if you succumb to fear, the devil will lead you around in circles.

SO…your ability to rise above the cares, worries, and the sin of the world…is not in your fleshit’s in your spirit.

AND…Faith…is how you go above the line.

***The Word is what will cause you to see by faithabove the line.

________________________________________________________

Q. Pastor why are you always saying; “the Word, the Word, the Word?”

A. Because it’s the only thing that you have in your life that will NEVER CHANGE.

-The Word is constant

-The Word is firm

- The Word is eternal

- The Word was in the beginning

-AND…The Word will be at the end.

Matthew 24:35 (KJV) Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

“He that Believeth”

Luke 16:19-25  King James Version

19There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

NOW…If you’ve been hurtabused…you have bitternesstreated wrong

That can attract dogs in your life.

(Dogs = people that will make you feel better, but not help you truly get better.)

AND…if you have some kind of emotional sore…(image of abuse)

You will attract dogs…

AND…only the power of God…will heal these wounds.

SO…the rich guy went to hell.

AND…Hell is a real place…a place of eternal torment.

AND…the choice you make to believe on Jesus…is what determines where you will spend eternity.

________________________________________________

NOW…let’s look at this rich guy and how he is still ordering people around…even thou he is in hell.

24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

________________________________________________________

NOW…This rich guy’s body is dead in the earth.

BUThe is in hell! (His spiritual being, is in hell.)

AND…He is saying to send Lazereth; ”to dip his finger in water to cool his tongue.”

NOW…the spiritual being of this man:

-can see Lazereth

-can talk to Abraham

-and he wants water for his tongue…because he’s thirsty.

BUT…his body is in a grave on earth.

_______________________________________________________

SO…it sounds like everything that he could do with his spirithe could do with his body?

***NOW…The only reason he could do it with his body…is because he could do it with his spirit.

Example: jacket…takes the form of me…

The only reason why you have arms…is because YOU have arms

The only reason you have a tongue…is because YOUR spirit has a tongue.

_____________________________________________________

SO…Your body is a cover for your spirit.

AND…just like you have 5 physical senses…you have spiritual senses.

Example: now you can train your spiritual senses…and your spiritual senses can mature…to be able to sense what is happening spiritually.

Example:

I told a story of how God had me give a guy some fuel… (Then the Lord said; “fill it up”)…but the guy only asked for 1 gallon.

WELL…a few weeks later…another guy came up to me at a gas station and asked for some fuel.

NOW…understand…this guys was…

-driving a nice truck

-wearing nice cloths

-wearing nice shoes

-hair was clean and groomed

-even had on a nice pair of sun glasses

AND…his story sounded ligament. (He just needed some gas to get to an appointment that he was late for and he left his wallet at home.)

BUT…my spirit (me) was telling me…NO!

WELL:

A few weeks after that…the same guy approached me…trying to tell me the same story.

SO…I told him…he already tried that on me at the gas station, a few weeks ago.

The guy got mad…walked to his truck…looked back at me and gave me the one-way to heaven sign.

SO…what I’m saying is…you can discern things spiritually

_________________________________________________________

1 Corinthians 2:14 King James Version

14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

_______________________________________________________

NOW BACK TO:

2 Corinthians 4:16 King James Version (KJV)

16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

SO…Our inward man is renewed day by day

AND…Faith comes from our inward man!

***NOWFaith is what we use to operate our spiritual senses.

Example:

Dr.KC Price

He is driving a wrecked car…but he is preaching abundance.

(His wife wants them to quickly get to their car after he would minister…because he was preaching how good God was, but they didn’t have much)

Mark 11:24 King James Version

24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

BUT YOU SEE…this Word had already taken root in his life…and his potential was coming out!

His potential wasn’t waiting on external circumstances, to confirm his arrival.

AND…you can’t live by what is temporal…you have to live by what is eternal!

________________________________________________

God has all the provision we will ever need, (in the eternal)… (where moth and rust cannot corrupt)

AND…With our faith…we can look at things that are NOT seen…and call things that be NOT as though they were!

NOW…God has seen what you would ever need and desire before you ever came into the earth.

AND…Faith is what accesses the promises of God!

-Faith sees the future.

-Fear worries about the future.

Everything in this earth that God has promised you…is available to you now!

The enemy is the only one that is trying to keep it from you. (Not God)

God’s answer is to His promises is …“Yes and amen”

2 Corinthians 1:20cKing James Version

20For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

_______________________________________

God does not hesitate…if you have the faith…go get it!

***You have the faith that “takes” and NOT the faith that “waits”.

SAY IT! I have the faith that takes…and not the faith that waits!

John 5:5-9 King James Version

5And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

6When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

7The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

8Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

9And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

Jesus wasn’t going to let this guy wait another year, month, week or another day for his healing…Jesus was saying…take it, if you want it!

***YOU SEE…you cannot blame and walk in faith!

STOP…and ask God to forgive you for blaming someone, something, some organization, or some group for your failure, hurt, pain, grief, or sorrow.

Your days of blaming others…are over!

YOU SEE…when you blame someone…you are giving that person power, to govern your future!

***Blaming is designed to steal your image…that God has placed in you of your royalty.

-As long as you blame…you will stay where you’re at.

-You won’t moveblaming!

NOW…Jesus said; “Do you want to be made whole?”

Then Jesus said:

Rise!

Take up your bed! (Put on you…what you’ve been put on!)

Walk! (Leave the place that you once laid and blamed)

Faith sees the results!

AND…Faith isn’t anxious…because faith can see it!

STOP:

You see yourself healed

See yourself married

See your marriage happy and prosperous

See your house paid for

See your debt being supernaturally restored and repaid!

See your son or daughter coming home & back to Jesus!

Example: (Father was watching for His son)

See yourself driving that new car

See all your bills paid

See yourself handing the key to a new car to someone else

See yourself handing the title deed to a house to someone.

See yourself building the old waste places.

See yourself building an orphanage

See yourself building us our new worship center for wcwc

See yourself buying our new land

See yourself buying food for single parents

The unseen can become more real than the seen.

NOW…Warning…people may wonder why you have that stupid grin on your face…why you seem to not have a care in the world…why you’re so FULL of joy and life!

BUT…you can tell them.

Hebrews 12:1-2   King James Version

1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Romans 4:17-21 King James Version

17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

19And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:

20He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

***Hope will lead you into the future, but faith will see the future and make it your NOW!

Example: “By His stripes I am healed”

Celebrating the Goodness of God” p.18

A Life of Faith

NOW…God has a good life planned for you…and it’s never too late.

God has made THE WAY to live a good life…but the only way to live a life of victory…is by faith.

1 John 5:4 (King James Version)

4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

John 14:6 (King James Version)

6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is the way! Amen!

Psalm 34:1-15 (New Living Translation)

1 I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.
2 I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.
3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.

4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.
5 Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
6 In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.
7 For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.

8 Taste and see that the Lord is good.Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
9 Fear the Lord, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need.
10 Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.

11 Come, my children, and listen to me, and I will teach you to fear the Lord.
12 Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous?
13 Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies!
14 Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

15 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.

NOW…go to (Deut. 1)…this was when God had told Israel…that He had a place for them to live.

AND…it was a good place to live.

Deuteronomy 1:25-26 (King James Version)

25And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us.

26Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:

Verse 21 (King James Version)

21Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.

NOW…Just because the Lord has gives you something…doesn’t mean that you automatically enjoy it.

What must happen is?

We have to go get it…and it’s ONLY by faith…that we will be able to overcome.

*Discouragement will try to keep you from your destiny.

__________________________

People have an issue about the God’s goodness…..it’s too good to be true.

And what happens is…their faith never rises to the level that is required to take what God has.

(Can you see this?)…have you seen this?

_________________________

Remember…The Israelites had been in Egypt for many years.

AND…their thinking had been conformed to lack and despair.

(The devil wants you to be afraid to dream…and to fear disappointment.)

Satan…doesn’t want you have hope.

Because…Hope is your blueprint to your faith. (It’s the road map…to your faith)

There is a spirit of discouragement. (Guard your heart from discouraging people)

_______________

Hebrews 10:35 (King James Version)

35Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

God’s goodness is bigger than our mistakes, our failures, our shortcomings.

Faith is the unlimited.

It is the only unlimited force / power.

Faith is the most important force in the whole universe.

Faith is the access to a world of unlimited possibilities.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for…the evidence of things not seen.

What are faith’s limitations?

…”If thou canst believe…all things are possible to him that believeth”…

Mark 9:23 (King James Version)

23Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Mark 10:27 (King James Version)

27And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Mark 11:23 (King James Version)

23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Whatsoever = this is unlimited

Whatsoever you believe…you are empowered to deliver.

Faith is the answer to all satanic assaults.

Ephesians 6:16 (King James Version)

16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

How many of you know that we don’t know all there is to know about the goodness of God? AMEN!

AND…What God says for us to do…is good for us?

______________

You know…Some people don’t know what to do in life.

BUT…there are others that say they don’t know what to do, but they are ignoring what they’ve heard from the Word.

AND…That is not okay to do.

______________

Understanding the goodness of God can help:

-free you from depression

-lift burdens of life

-help you understand, that it’s okay to cast your cares over onto Him

-feed your faith…and remove limitations on your receiving.

11 Come, my children, and listen to me, and I will teach you to fear the Lord.
12 Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous?

14 Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

Psalm 27:13 (King James Version)

13I had fainted, (Giving up) unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

(Amplified Bible)

13[What would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!

SAY IT: I’m expecting to see…the goodness of God…in my life…in the land of the living…I choose to live the good life…by faith…

and I believe…that something good…is happening to me…today and every day.

NOW…People faint and give up when their expectation is changed.

AND…We are to expect the goodness of God…everyday!

Matthew 6:34 (King James Version)

34Take therefore no thought (anxious thought) for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

When fear changes expectations…people give up hope…and they stop believing.

PEACE OF GOD

Isaiah 26:3 (King James Version)

3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Psalm 37:37 (King James Version)

37Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

(New Living Translation)

37 Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace.

2 Corinthians 13:11 (King James Version)

11Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

God is the God of peace.

Peace is more than just living strife free.

Peace is living in the presence of God.

Pastor Angie; “Peace is not the absence of trouble…it’s the presence of God.”

***NOW…a life of peace…is a life that can hear God’s voice.

ANDHearing from God is the key to our success here on earth.

*NOW…The fruit of the Spirit has been given to us for specific reasons…and one of the purposes of the fruit of the spirit is to cause us to live a life of peace.

Galatians 5:22-25 (King James Version)

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23Meekness, temperance:

John 14:23-27 (New Living Translation)

23 Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them. 24 Anyone who doesn’t love me will not obey me. And remember, my words are not my own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent me. 25 I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. 26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

A good teacher can learn to communicate with different people on their level.

NOW…The Holy Ghost is the BEST communicator that there is.

AND…He can get the information from God, to us…in a way that we can understand.

BUT…Christians are day in…and day out…ignoring the obvious.

EX. They pray and something comes up…and then they ignore the obvious.

SAY TO SOMEONE: “stop ignoring the obvious”

God has made the life of faith…simple!

But rememberit takes faith to believe in the goodness of God.

Matthew 18:3 (King James Version)

3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

It takes faith to believe that God loves you the same as He loves the Lord Jesus

(The one who never sinned…who never did wrong)

Jesus always obeyed the Father…He never did any wrong…He pleased the Father…all the time…every moment of every day.

YOU SEE…the devil will tell you that there is no way that God loves you the same as He loves Jesus.

You’re a failure…you have committed so many sins…you have done so wrong.”

BUT…those thoughts are destructive. (they do not reflect the good thoughts that God has toward you)

STOP talking about your failure. (More failure comes by hearing about your failure.)

A humble person is one who shuts their mouth about their failures and just receives the righteousness of Jesus.

Have faith in your forgiveness…than in your sin.

1 John 4:15-19 (King James Version)

15Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

17Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

19We love him, because he first loved us.

(The Good of the Land)

Psalm 34:1-15 (New Living Translation)

1 I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.
2 I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.
3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.

4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.
5 Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.

NOW…It’s one thing to believe in the goodness of God…

BUT…we are supposed to believe to see His goodness…right here!

NOW…We’ve got to believe that God is goodAND that it’s His will to manifest His goodness…right here on earth.

Are you really standing in faith…if there is no expectancy with it?

Psalm 27:13 (King James Version)

13I had fainted, (Giving up) unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Proverbs 4:18 (King James Version)

18But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

(New Living Translation)

18 The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.

(Amplified Bible)

18But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day [to be prepared].

Your days on earth should be getting better and better!

Deuteronomy 11:21 (King James Version)

21That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

Well Pastor…I just don’t believe that kind of life is possible…not the way the world is today? (It’s too far gone)

Isaiah 1:19 (King James Version)

19If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Do you know that?…(The good of the land is a representation of the best.)

God desires for you to have the best.

Example of preacher who bought a used 1980’s aircraft…then a new Gulfstream taxies up next to the preacher aircraft.

Guy in the F.B.O. says; “what does that preacher need with an airplane?”

Q. What does anyone need an airplane for?

A. To get from point A to point B. (It’s that simple)

BUT…the guy in the FBO never said one word about the business men that flew in on their 50 million dollar Gulfstream.

That man doesn’t see the value of the gospel.

AND…far too many Christians don’t see the value of the gospel.

_______________

The goodness of God is too much for some people to believe?

2 Kings 7:1-2 (New Living Translation)

Elisha replied, “Listen to this message from the Lord! This is what the Lord says: By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, five quarts of choice flour will cost only one piece of silver, and ten quarts of barley grain will cost only one piece of silver.”

2 The officer assisting the king said to the man of God, “That couldn’t happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!”

But Elisha replied, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it!”

It takes faith to believe the Word!

It takes faith to stand.

_______________

YOU KNOW…Many Christian believe that the good of the land is for someone else.

AND…That the best is for the unbelievers. (The sinners)

(They expect the ungodly to have the jets, best cars, best boats, ect.)

Our expectation needs to increase.

Our faith needs to reach higher and further than we’re use to.

(Some people think…It’s easier to believe that God doesn’t want us to have much.)

BUT…Don’t chock on God’s goodness.

________________

It takes faith to believe it and receive what God has for us.

AND…Even after your failures and sinGod still wants you to enjoy His goodness.

Faith’s Starting Point

NOW…Your faith…must start in His love for you.

When you know someone loves you…unconditionally…you can always reach higher.

We are not supposed to live off of sinners scraps!

YOU KNOW…Poverty is a curse.

Proverbs 10:15 (King James Version)

15The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.

Proverbs 13:18 (King James Version)

18Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.

YOU KNOWPoverty is a mentality…that has to change in the church.

EX. A person can be very wealthy and have a poverty mentality.

Having the best…is God’s way.

There is NO second best…in Heaven?

Proverbs 11:25 (King James Version)

25The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

(New Living Translation)

25 The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Proverbs 10:4 (King James Version)

4He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

(New Living Translation)

4 Lazy people are soon poor; hard workers get rich.

Proverbs 22:7 (King James Version)

7The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

2 Corinthians 8:9 (King James Version)

9For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. (Abundantly supplied).

Psalm 34:1-15 (New Living Translation)

1 I will praise the Lord at all times.  I will constantly speak his praises. (This is more than just thinking about Him…this is speaking about Him)

KJV …”his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

There are people that have never spoken about the praises of God.

There are Christians…that are afraid to this…for fear of what others will think of them.

(Well pastor…that’s not my personality.)

Guess what? There’s hope…you can change!

______________________

2 I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. (KJV” the humble shall hear thereof”)

Proud people…don’t want to hear about the Lord.

3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.

4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.  He freed me from all my fears.

Free from the fear of…poverty and lack.

Free from the fear of…sickness and death.

Free from the fear of…rejection.

Free from the fear of…loneliness. (Free from all fear!)

5 Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.

You can tell when you’ve looked away from God, for your help.

Example:

If it gets darker, and you’re getting more confused…you’re looking at the wrong thing.

Because…When you look at Him…you become enlightened…and radiant with Joy.

In the light…you see and you know.

In the dark…you stumble, become confused, and you don’t know.

AND…things that you should know…you won’t know…if you’re in the dark.

6 In my desperation (Darkness) I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.
7 For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.

NOW…you need to see angels in guard around you…your children…your house…your car…your business…your school.

BUT…What angels will do is based on what you believe and what you say.

Example:

We have to agree with God’s Word…because they perform His Word. (Right?)

Angels hearken to the voice of His Word. (Psalm 103:20)

NOW…Even if you don’t understand some things…stay with the Word of God.

Even if it looks like some things have happened that seem contraire to the Word…just stick with the Word of God.

SAY IT! Just stay with the Word of God…it is life and health to you.

(There are some things that you don’t understand yet…)

BUT…Choose to agree with the Word.

WELL…you know pastor…”you just never know what God is going to do.”

Don’t listen to men’s feeble attempt to explain why things happen.

________________________

Make up your mind to believe the scriptures.

Become knowledgeable with what the Word has to say about things.

AND…If you will do this before things look bad…you will have built a solid foundation to stand on.

Ephesians 6:13-14 (King James Version)

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

(New Living Translation)

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.

NOW…It’s hard to stand firm if you not on stable ground. (Shifting sand)

Matthew 7:24-29 (King James Version)

24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

YOU SEE…There are thousands of people who have heard the Word of God BUT are not doing them.

AND…those same people will tell you that God’s Word doesn’t work.

27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

28And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

29For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

_______________

SO…No matter what you’ve seen or what I’ve seen. (The Word is right!)

AND…No matter what you’ve experienced or I’ve experienced. (The Word is right!)

We must submit ourselves to the Word of God.

When we submit to Word…we are submitting to God’s authority.

AND…When we submit ourselves to His authority…our faith works!

Matthew 8:5-10 (King James Version)

5And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

6And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

7And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

8The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

10When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

God is a good God…that tells us good news!

NOW…the definition of the word “good” from the Hebrew and Greek means:

-Pleasant, Beautiful, Excellent,

-Rich, Prosperous, Well,

-Appropriate, Beneficial, Happy,

-Honest, Honorable, and right.

WELL…God is ALL those things! (AND…We should be all those things too!) Right?

Ephesians 5:1 (Amplified Bible)

1THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].

*When the words from the bible are mixed with faith in our spirits…they can cause supernatural results.

Because…words from the bible are from God…for us. (It’s God speaking to us!)

We should hear these words with even an greater conviction than your closest friend talking to you.

Hebrews 4:2 (King James Version)

2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

SO…How does the Word…Not mix with faith? A. unbelief

YOU SEE…This is not a matter of power…it’s a matter of choice.

God’s Word is not void power…just people who will choose to believe Him.

AND…The Word is really not an “it”…because its God speaking to you…His Word and Him are one.

John 1 (King James Version)

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Proverbs 4:20-22 (King James Version)

20My son, attend to my words (pay attention to what I say);

incline thine ear unto my sayings. (Listen carefully to my words.)

21Let them not depart from thine eyes; (Don’t lose sight of them) EX. Keeping within sight of something.

keep them in the midst of thine heart.

22For they are life unto those that find them, and health (medicine) to all their flesh. (Healing to their whole body)

_____________________

If you’ve ever wondered why you don’t see more miracles than you do…it’s because there are not enough people:

1. Attending to the word,

2. Listening carefully, and

3. They are losing sight of the word.

Ephesians 5:3-9 (New Living Translation)

3 Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. 4 Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God. 5 You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.

6 Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey him. 7 Don’t participate in the things these people do. 8 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! 9 For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.

NOW…The same needs to be told where the goodness of God is concerned.

AND…What God has for you…you need to embrace with both arms.

Pursue what God has for you.

BUT…your pursuit must be done by faithtrusting that what God has for you, is only going to bless your life.

God is looking to bless you.

God is looking to bless you.

God is looking to bless you.

Acts 10:38 (King James Version)

38How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

***Every day of our life should reaffirm the goodness of God to us.

7Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

9(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

10Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

11Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

12For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

Proverbs 28:20 (King James Version)

20A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

Romans 4:13-25 (New Living Translation)

13 Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith. 14 If God’s promise is only for those who obey the law, then faith is not necessary and the promise is pointless. 15 For the law always brings punishment on those who try to obey it. (The only way to avoid breaking the law is to have no law to break!)

16 So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham’s. For Abraham is the father of all who believe. 17 That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.

18 Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” 19 And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb.

20 Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. 21 He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. 22 And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous. 23 And when God counted him as righteous, it wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. It was recorded 24 for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.

Psalm 34:1-13 (New Living Translation)

1 I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.
2 I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.
3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.

4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.

We are supposed to live a fear free life!

Do you know? …to live a life of fear…is to live a life that is not pleasing to God?

Life of dread

Worry

Victim mentality

All these demonic oppressions are NOT from God…or pleasing to God.

Q. Could you possibly live a life that is completely free from all fear? A. Yes

Q. Will require FAITH…to live free from fear? A. Yes

*Great struggles are associated with a lack of knowledge and understanding of God’s love…and how to live by faith.

SAY IT: The Lord directs my steps…He always meets all my need…I will fear no evil…for you are with me…so I don’t care…who is against me! I know that God loves me! He cares for me.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Romans 8:31 If God be for us, who can be against us?

John 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Ephesians 2:1-10 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Back to: Psalm 34:1-13

8 Taste (Experience) and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! (Ex. Tasting food in the kitchen)

Psalm 86:5 (King James Version)

5For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

YOU KNOW…That is so simple to understand.

YET, highly educated minds…have said differently about God.

AND…they have persuaded the minds of others…that maybe God isn’t so good.

A CHILD CAN UNDERSTAND THAT: (God is good…the devil is bad)

Example: of good people having bad things happen to them…sometimes its God doing bad…sometimes it’s the devil doing bad.

That’s confusing.

*You never read about Jesus doing bad stuff…to help fulfill the will of His Father.

Matthew 4:23 (King James Version)

23And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matthew 9:35 (King James Version)

35And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Acts 10:38 (King James Version)

38How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Matthew 17:27 (King James Version)

Here you see that Peter needed some money for taxes.

27… go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Q. SO, did Jesus meet that need also? A. YES

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Some people are so confused…that they don’t know who to resist.

EX. I had a person tell me that living for God is so heard…that if they just would live like they use to…that the devil didn’t attack them nearly as much.

SO…are you thinking of switching sides?

Do you think that maybe if you love God in your heart, but live like the devil things would be easier? LOL

There are people who have told me…”you know, we don’t always know what is good”

EX. Someone attacked with a disease…

You know pastor; you may think it’s bad…but God might know that it’s good.”

______________

Millions of Christians think like this.

AND…what they are saying is…we are not able to discern between good and evil.

And their leading us to believe is that:

Everything that happens is God…

so it has to be good…even if it looks terrible…

and we are to ignorant to understand really what God’s plan is…

so need to submit to all of it because God is doing something.

That’s not the bible!

That is man’s pitiful attempt to explain things.

When you hear the truth and understand it…things that have been held back in your life will break free! AMEN!

Romans 16:19 (King James Version)

19For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

Q. Does God want us to understand what is good? A. YES

God wants us to be wise about His goodness.

Q. Does He want us to know about evil? A. NO

We are much better off…NOT knowing about all the evil that’s in the earth.

(What you need to know about evil…is found in the Word.)

There is no one depressed for God.

Have you tasted any of God’s goodness? YES!
